Former Mackay mining executive charged with possessing child abuse material in Bali

In short: 

A North Queensland man who used to work as a high-level mining executive with connections to the Mongolian parliament has faced Mackay Magistrates Court charged with possessing child exploitation material in Bali. 

Magistrate Bronwyn Hartigan has denied Ole Saeverud bail.  

What's next?

Mr Saeverud was remanded in custody and will appear before the Mackay Magistrates Court on August 11 for a committal mention.
